Little Orchard SC Perry *B

Dam: SGCH Little Orchard L*P Pure Joy

Sire: Kastdemur's Storm Cat

D.O.B. 03-2008

Perry is another outstanding animal from the Little Orchard herd.  He's got tremendous general appearance, is smoothly blended and stands on very strong feet and legs.  He tracks ideally and walks uphill; his front end assembly is near perfect.  Perry is a very long bodied boy, and really quite a looker.  He's also very much a 'mama's boy' which may become problematic as he gets older...<g>.  He's a beautiful chamoisee color, and has my favorite - wattles.

His pedigree boasts some of the finest goats in the breed today.  Not only that, but his dam is a very productive, hard-working girl.  We're once again, very grateful to the Griners for this special boy.

Irish Whisper RA Raisin' Cain AI

FOR SALE

Dam: Morningstar EM's Morning Dove

Sire: Stonewall's Raising Arizona

D.O.B. 3-21-05

YEA!!!  Finally - some Arizona kids!  And, boy, Cain is really something to write home about!  Cain is a big boy, and is structurally very correct.  That said, his front end assembly is near perfect!  His feet and legs are ideal, and he has super-tight toes.  We're using Cain fairly heavily this fall to see if he's going to live up to what his genetics dictate!

Cain's daughters have turned out to be all that we thought, if not a little nicer!  So far, he dramatically improves rear udder height and attachment, lateral attachment and teat size/placement.  He seems to leave foreudders alone.  He also puts awesome general appearance on at least 90% of all his kids (if not more).  Yes, the mammary systems are very nice, but it's the general appearance that's so outstanding.  Below is a picture of one of his daughters, out of a dam whose mammary system was somewhat sub-par.  What an improvement!  I'd take a whole herd full of those udders!

We've decided to keep Cain's son by ARMCH/GCH Sugar Creek Nate's Patience, "Willie".  Willie's first daughters are here, and again, they're exactly as expected.  Willie does improve foreudders and overall teat size, although the general appearance is not quite as outstanding - still above average, though, that's for sure!  So, we're debating on letting Cain move on.  This is a very hard decision, so if you're interested in one of the few remaining Stonewall's Raising Arizona sons, please contact me.

Sugar Creek RC Willful

Dam: GCH/ARMCH Sugar Creek Nate's Patience

Sire: Irish Whisper RA Raising Cain AI

We're just elated to have Willie here!  His dam, Patience, just won the 2006 AGS National Best Udder award, and I truly think it may be flawless!  Patience is a beautiful doe all the way around.  Added to that are the great Arizona genetics, and Willie is the result!  He's really quite an impressive young boy; very, very dairy while still being masculine.

Willie's first crop of daughters have now freshened, and they're absolutely all that we hoped for.  Oddly enough, every single one of his daughters went through a really, really ugly-heavy period, and I was surely scared.  But, once they freshened, they emerged long, lean, very feminine does with stunning mammary systems.  Willie absolutely inherited the best from both of his parents.  He also inherited his grandpa Nate's libido, so he'll breed anything that moves (or not!<g>).  As a side note - so far ALL of his kids have remained small; I think that his largest daughter is 19.5" at the withers.  It's just interesting since both of his parents are good-sized goats.

Heatherwood C Spiked Sangria

Dam:  Hill Country WB Sangria

Sire:  Rosasharn J Charleston (Rosasharn Julius x ARMCH Rosasharn Bit-O-Honey "Mouse")

D.O.B. July 3, 2007

Another little guy that I'm totally excited about!  In addition to his lovely general appearance, this guy has mammary systems in his pedigree that just won't stop - especially foreudders.  When Spike first arrived here, I'd say that he had average length of body.  But, a year later, and boy, this guy has really stretched right out!  He's also sired some gorgeous kids out of some of our Willie daughters.  One of his daughters, "Vogue" recently took GCH Jr. doe at the Michigan State Fair Open Show, literally being the youngest doe there, and her half-sister, "Tang" took RGCH Jr. Doe at the Michigan State Fair Youth Show.  Plus, you've got to see the escutcheons on his daughters - very impressive!  I've also retained one of his sons out of another Willie daughter, "Cotton".  This little buckling is really put together nicely, and is solid white!  I'm very pleaseD with Spike so far, and am looking forward to using him again this fall. Thanks, Bennie!

Irish Whisper SS White Bread

Dam:  Irish Whisper W Cottonelle

Sire:  Heatherwood C Spiked Sangria

D.O.B. May 5, 2008

I just love this little buck.  He's solid white and super stylish.  I really need to get a picture of him to show him off.  Plus, he's got those gorgeous, really big brown eyes.  He's also got a very mild, sweet-mannered temperament.  I don't know if he'll be ready to use this fall, but we'll give him a shot.  His pedigree is chocked full of incredible goats, and although his dam is a first-freshener, she's just stunning.  Spike and the Willie daughters crossed so nicely that we just couldn't wether this boy!

**White Bread, along with Circus Freak disappeared from the farm on October 18, 2008 - into thin air without a trace.  We are keeping up all hope that they both show up.

MI Sugarcreek XC Yippy Skippy

Dam: MI Sugarcreek WM Xena (WGF Sally x SC Walkman, littermate brother to SC Tunes!)

Sire: MI Sugarcreek X-tra Cash

D.O.B. July 14, 2008

Awww, my little Yippy Skippy...he's one well-loved boy!!  We picked him up from Cheryl's when he was just 2 days old, and has remained very special to us ever since.  I think that Yippy is absolutely perfect- long and level without sacrificing width, and has a beautiful front end assembly...oh yea, and wattles!  Oh, and I can't forget about his dam, Xena.  Xena is a first-freshening daughter of Sally's, sired by Walkman, littermate brother to the gorgeous Tunes.  Xena's conformation is exceptional, but her mammary system is her crowing glory - absolutely glued on, capacious, and well, perfect.  On Yippy's paternal side is his granddam, Penny, who I've watched in shows for her entire life, as well as milk-tested her for years.  I literally don't think that there's a more ideal mammary system to be found on any goat in any breed.  Moreover, Penny is no spring chicken anymore, and her udder is just as high, and just as nice as ever.

We're very excited about our newest little addition here, and judging by his behavior, he'll get the chance to breed a couple does (although he's only 2 months old, he's making valiant attempts at getting the LaManchas bred...<g>).

A HUGE thanks goes out to Cheryl, who will one day be rewarded for her kindness and giving spirit.
