Sire: MCH Green

D.O.B. 6/06/00
After a brief
departure from our farm, Jupiter has returned home, and we're happy to have
him. Jupiter has matured into a beautiful buck, being very long bodied
with great width. He exudes dairy character as well as power.
Although he's not a flashy buck, he's sure a valuable asset to our herd.
Since being on milk test, we've come to realize that in addition to his
great general appearance, he consistently throws daughters with outstanding
milk qualities. His first daughter, Peek-a-boo, made the 2003 Top Ten
list for both Butterfat (#4), and Protein (#6). Unfortunately, she
missed the overall milk quantity by just 8 lbs.! We also love his
daughter, Rosie (Peek-a-boo's granddaughter). She's just a milking
machine, and has easily the strongest topline in the herd.
Sadly, we lost
Jupiter this past spring ('08). He never, ever cared for the winters, and it
all finally caught up with him. He will be missed.

Irish

D.O.B. 5-20-03
Dusty, as my
daughter calls him, is really developing into a nice little buckling.
I had originally planned on selling him, but once he began turning out so
nice, I just had to change my mind. That, combined with the tremendous
mammaries in his pedigree ought to make him a great asset to any herd.
This guy is unbelievably sweet - really. He'll stop eating grain just
to come and get hugs & kisses!
On December 11, 2006, I made the heart-wrenching decision
to put my boy down. Ten days prior, he apparently
contracted Listeriosis. Although it was caught
immediately and treated (he was treated for several things),
it left Dusty with a severe seizure disorder and right-sided
paralysis. Surprisingly, he never lost his mental
status, and quickly became very dependant on me. I spent
nearly every waking moment (and some sleeping moments!) with
him, turning him, feeding him through a syringe, changing his
blankets, etc., but in the end, it was just no life for a boy
that had been so full of it prior to this. I sobbed and
sobbed, and know in my heart that there will never, ever be a
boy equal to my Dusty.

YEA!!!
Finally - some Arizona kids! And, boy, Cain is really something to
write home about! Cain is a big boy, and is structurally very correct.
That said, his front end assembly is near perfect! His feet and legs
are ideal, and he has super-tight toes. We're using Cain fairly
heavily this fall to see if he's going to live up to what his genetics
dictate!
Cain's daughters have turned out to be all that we
thought, if not a little nicer! So far, he dramatically improves rear
udder height and attachment, lateral attachment and teat size/placement.
He seems to leave foreudders alone. He also puts awesome general
appearance on at least 90% of all his kids (if not more). Yes, the
mammary systems are very nice, but it's the general appearance that's so
outstanding. Below is a picture of one of his daughters, out of a dam
whose mammary system was somewhat sub-par. What an improvement!
I'd take a whole herd full of those udders!
We've decided to keep Cain's son by ARMCH/GCH Sugar
Creek Nate's Patience, "Willie". Willie's first daughters are here,
and again, they're exactly as expected. Willie does improve foreudders
and overall teat size, although the general appearance is not quite as
outstanding - still above average, though, that's for sure!

Jason, and his Halloween littermate
Freddie, were just troublemakers right from the very start!
Both have moved on, but they were both very similar in style.
Both boys were very, very long bodied and had lovely angulation.
Of course, mammary potential is outstanding given Lassie's udder,
as well as the other mammary systems in their pedigree. Both
of these boys excelled at escaping too! <g>

Irish Whisper Rosie Russian
Dam: Irish Whisper RingAround Rosie
Sire: Irish Whisper RB Black Jack
D.O.B. 05-09-08
Russian is one of triplet bucks out of
Rosie. Being a solid black boy, he's very striking and quite
correct. Given the mammary systems of both his dam and
paternal granddam, we feel that he will only be able to contribute
positively.

Salem
is all that I could ask for in a buck; he's got wonderful general appearance, is
extremely long-bodied, has dairy character to spare, and is out of one of the
nicest LaMancha's that I've seen. His dam, Jamaica, is absolutely stunning
and I'm so very happy to have her boy here. At his first show, Salem
went GCH! We've got confidence that Salem will finish his championship without
any problem. Thanks to the Gosnells of
Irish Valley Farm.
Salem
is, without question, one of my favorite goats! If I didn't know he was a
goat, I'd swear that he was a dog - he follows me everywhere, goes on long walks
with me, and whenever he see me coming, he wags his tail like a maniac!
Yep, this boy is all personality inside a gorgeous body!!

Drakkar is incredible - long, tall, smoothly blended, and oozing with
dairy character and general appearance. This little boy is so nice

This solid white
buck has been pretty stylish right from the beginning. I
absolutely LOVE his dam, and I'm really hoping that he will
throw the style he exhibits as well as the mammary system of
his lovely dam, Heaven. Tard has had a couple rough
patches, but now seems to be on the right path. He's
quite a big boy, and like his sire has length and depth to
spare. We're really hoping that he matures enough to use
this fall.

Dam: Kastdemur's Dew U Dare
Sire: Autumn Acres Black Zephyr
D.O.B. 3/17/06
JGCH x 1 (restricted leg pending), 1xst (shown one time)
Holy Smokes!!! This little doe from the Autumn Acres herd is really
stunning. She's incredibly loooonnngggg AND smoothly blended, AND is loaded with
general appearance, AND has everything going for her!! In addition to
Dev's extreme length, she stands on nice strong feet and legs.
Dev's mammary system is lovely, being very, very well attached,
beautifully shaped, and has a nicely extended, smooth foreudder.
Her teats are a placed a little bit on the outside, but nothing
that I can't tolerate, given all the other great qualities she
has. As a second freshener, Dev's capacity nearly doubled,
with a high milk-test weight of 10.2 lbs. Maddie picked
this doe out, and boy did she make a good choice. Our thanks goes out
to Tammy from Autumn Acres!!
Dev has been bred to Perry
for spring kids. We're expecting these kids to be
freight-train long, though they will also be somewhat slower to
mature - worth the wait, we think!

Sire: Piddlin Acres Suzuki Samuri
D.O.B.: 12/20/00 - 7/5/07
1st x 2, 3rd x 1
Little Tarzana - My
namesake-after I tumbled out of the hayloft, <g>, is quite a
little doe. Unfortunately, she’s not fond of picture-taking, and
made it very difficult to get any good shots. Nonetheless, her
personality demands your attention and affection. We have high
hopes for Tarzana, as her dam is so very outstanding, as
well as her sire. Additionally, her paternal granddam, Far ‘N Best
Suzuki is exceptional in her own right. Tarzana is very wide, both
front and rear, and tracks ideally. If she had been standing
‘normally’, you’d also be able to see her wonderful length, and
more of her dairy character. But, as usual, Tarzana has plans of
her own...<g> Many of Samuri’s daughters have kidded now, and he
has consistently produced lovely mammary systems, with Tarzana
being no exception. Her udder is the prettiest in my herd -
beautifully shaped, great medial, nice teat size and placement,
very good attachment everywhere, although I'd like to see a
smoother foreudder. She has plenty of capacity, and Harvey
Considine placed her 1st out of 17 goats at her first show as a
milker - at nearly 5 months fresh!
Sadly, we
lost our beloved Tarzana on July 5, 2007. She died 5 days
after suffering a stroke. She remained loving and loyal to
the end - still wagging her tail every time she saw us. She
and Fancy were members of our family, and she will be mourned....

Gay-Mor's RA Wood Nymph

Sire:
Stonewall's Raising Arizona
D.O.B.:
2/21/00 - 6/9/06
1st x 1, 3rd x 3, Best Udder x 1
"Fancy" is one of the first does we purchased
from Gay-Mor, based solely on the strength of mammary systems in her
background. Boy, were we surprised when we saw what a gorgeous girl she is!
Unfortunately, as a junior, she acted like a devil spawn in the show ring,
and was barely containable. Fancy's personality is just hysterical - I call
her my little 'blonde' - she's just a bit dingy, but just as sweet as the
day is long.
She really is a nice doe from great milking lines. Her
strengths are her general appearance, width, great legs and feet and the
sweetest personality ever. Her escutcheon is really high and wide with the
perfect arched shape, with an absolutely perfect udder to fill it in. I LOVE
THIS UDDER! Buttery texture, great orifices, attached high and wide
with great lateral attachments, and a nice foreudder. If I had to find
any fault, I’d say that her rump is a bit steep, however, it is long and
flat.
It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I have to
report that
Fancy passed on June 9, 2006 (forever a sad day). As one of my
foundation goats - I loved her as I would a member of my family; to me, she
was one of the family. She asked for little, and in return gave
unconditional love and unending entertainment (she gave new meaning to the
word 'character').
Passed over The Rainbow Bridge on
June 9, 2006....

Record: GCH Sr. x 1 (ADGA leg)
"Wee Gee" has got to
be the sweetest dam-raised kid I've ever seen! She was so incredibly
shy at first, and has now blossomed into a very, very sweet little thing.
Aside from her adorable personality, she's an extremely correct doe, and
pretty true to the style of kid that King is throwing.
WeeGee has a beautifully attached udder with super soft skin and nicely
placed teats. Her downfall is that she doesn't have a whole lot of
capacity. She kidded this year with a single doe, and that may be part
of the problem.
At Wee Gee's first
show (ever), she garnered GCH Sr. doe - and with hardly milk! She was
very, very stressed, and literally didn't eat or drink a thing the whole
time we were at the show. But, luckily the judge could see beyond her
lack of milk, and saw what beautiful mammary attachments she has, as well as
beautiful conformation. Udder picture is of Wee Gee's littermate
sister, "Bunny".

Irish Whisper Calendar Girl
Dam:
Irish Whisper Workin' Girl
Sire:
Velvet Acres Flash JackDaniels
D.O.B. 3- -06
Callie is structurally very correct, and has quite
a bit of depth of body. We feel that she has tremendous potential in the
mammary department, given who her parents are. Their dam, Workin'
Girl, has an incredible mammary system that is just loaded with attachment,
and their sire, J.D., has been throwing beautiful udders.
Callie's
first freshening udder was super tiny but looked to be well attached.
We're going to give Callie another year to see what she can do.
Update: Callie freshened with a single kid, and has gain some
capacity. She still needs more capacity to be competitive, so
hopefully she'll kid with more than just one baby next time!

Sire:
MCH Flat Rocks Flash 'E'
D.O.B.
10/7/1995 - 12/8/2008
This picture
doesn't begin to show what a lovely doe Meshach is, nor how horribly unhappy
she was at being photographed! Nonetheless, she cooperated *somewhat*
<g>, although her attributes aren't shown well. This doe is deep and
wide, and has a near perfect mammary system. I'd have to say that
Meshach probably has the highest rear udder in my herd. Her udder has
incredible lateral attachment, perfectly placed plumb teats, and tons of
capacity. Her udder's only weakness is the foreudder - she has a shelf
and could use more extension. Oh well - she's still a huge asset to
the herd! I did make an attempt at showing Meshach, which I'll never
do again. She was stressed out more than I've ever seen, bloated up
and basically flipped out.
At 13 yrs. old,
Meshach is still going strong. This crazy old goat has become one of
my all time favorites. It appears that this old gal's
reproducing days are long past, but she's more than welcome to live out a
life of leisurely retirement right here - she's earned it.
Retired; Meshach died in her
sleep the morning of Dec. 8, 2008 - a long life, well-lived.

"Opie" as she's called around here, is quite the little doe. She
hasn't quite yet figured out that she's a goat, and is really very perturbed
about having to live with other goats (she resided in the house with me for
awhile). Although she's quite small, she's got to be the most vicious
goat on the farm!! (of course, it's only aimed at other goats - no matter
their size). Opie is just the most beautiful color of red, and has
depth and width to spare. She's recently undergone a growth spurt, and
is now showing some improvement in length of body. Opie's udder is a
lovely shape, very soft, has a great medial and nice teat placement.

Little ‘Alkie’ had quite a wait to finally arrive here in Michigan, but
she’s well worth the wait. She consistently produces some of
the nicest kids of the season - really spectacular! Plus, her udder is
amazing - really snug, tons of overall attachment, nice teat size (although
they point out somewhat) and beautifully shaped. She's just as sweet
as can be, though a bit orally fixated <g>. She's so wide that, as Val
puts it "she could carry a bowling ball between her legs!" - and she
always passes this on to her kids. This little girl has quite the
personality - she's absolutely hilarious! She's just total
entertainment to watch - a performer from the word go. Alkie is my
daughter's showmanship partner, and it's just amazing to see her go to work
in the show ring! She actually makes herself look good! <g>
Although I'd consider Alkie a brood doe, I can always count on her to
provide us with consistently nice babies, like Godiva.
Sadly, we lost Alkie during a C-section. She is very much missed.

Itty Bitty Indy
D.O.B. 3/1/07

I was so happy when Lassie kidded - she
hadn't settled for a couple years after a rough kidding.
Luckily, Lassie presented us with two beautiful kids - Anna
and her brother, Indiana Jones (who we're retaining as a
herdsire). Anna is a beautiful white buckskin, and given
her genetics, her udder should be out of this world!
We're sure keeping our fingers crossed on this one!
We really need to get an updated picture of Annie - she's long
and very dairy, and has freshened with a lovely udder. She's definitely going to be on our show
string!
Annie has been sold to a young lady
wanting to start show her ND's - We think Annie will do very well
for her, and we wish Michaela all the best!

Well, Tootsie. She's just a bit spoiled, and
certainly much larger than her kid photo above. Tootsie is a very big
improvement over her dam in many areas - overall udder attachment and
especially in the front end assembly. But, like her dam, she is quite
the easy-keeper. Her udder is tightly attached with beautiful texture
and nice, plumb teats. I'd like to see her teats a bit larger, but I'm
spoiled by the large teats of the other does. She's still quite easy
to milk, and can't forget what a character she is! We're retaining her
little doe, "Circus Freak" who is linebred on Gun Slinger.

What stands out most about Ginger are her big,
beautiful eyes, so reminiscent of her mother's expressive eyes. But,
she's also got her mom's wonderful personality and calm, entertaining
disposition. Ginger is now even more special to us since the untimely,
tragic loss of her dam. Although we've got very high hopes for Ginger,
she will always remain with us no matter how she turns out. Ginger's
2nd freshening udder remains very tightly attached, but with not as much
capacity as we had hoped. Her udder is somewhat deceiving, however,
since she milks completely down. We're hoping that more maturity will
bring added capacity - the only thing needed to make her perfect!

Sugar Creek Valeda Moth
Dam: Sugar Creek Sandflea
Sire: 4 Fun Gay-Mor
Pot-O-Gold
D.O.B. 3- -05
I
bought Leda based solely on the consistency of her sire, "Indy". So far,
Indy has produced some exceptional kids, and those that have freshened have
had superb mammary systems. Added to that are the wonderful qualities
that her dam exhibits, so we figured we couldn't go wrong. We're so happy to have our "Li'l Loleda"!
Leda has freshened
with another glued-on udder. No matter what I did, Leda just wouldn't
stand still for her udder shot (which was taken at 2 days fresh). She also has beautifully
shaped, plumb teats that are easy to milk. I'll keep trying for a
better shot, but her attachment is very apparent. Leda remains a very easy
keeper, and here that means 'fat'... <g>, but we still think she has a lot
to offer.

Wedding
D.O.B. 3/16/08
Well, I didn't name her! But,
she's one mischievous little doe - and amazingly brave!
She's *always* the one who leads the others into trouble!
Like her dam - and granddam - she remains very much a
sweetheart, so her troublemaking is easily forgiven. She
also is looking like she'll be an easy keeper as well.
It's so interesting to watch this line develop - each
generation seems to gain general appearance and structural
correctness, but they all retain those incredibly sweet
dispositions. The "Opie" line is really turning out to
be quite productive. Circus Freak will be bred to kid
late spring/early summer. Sadly, it looks like Circus
aborted during the time that she had disappeared. Her
udder is nearly dried up.
**Circus Freak, along with White
Bread, disappeared from the farm on October 18, 2008 - into
thin air without a trace. We are keeping up all hope
that they both show up.
Update: They've been found!!
They were posted on Craigslist for sale - and all the while
just about 3 miles from home...
Circus has had a very hard time
adjusting to the large herd. I feel so bad for her.
Because I feel she would do best in a smaller herd, I've
decided to put her up for sale.
